Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), Helmari processes your personal data as the data controller, as described here.

1. Data Controller

Helmari ([email protected]), as the data controller under KVKK Article 3, carries out the data-processing activities described in this disclosure.

2. Personal data processed

Identity (username, display name), contact (email), transaction security (IP, session data), user content (messages, files), usage data (last login, activity).

3. Purposes of processing (KVKK Art. 5)

Service provision, contractual performance, fulfilling legal obligations, our legitimate interests (account security, fraud detection), your explicit consent (optional profile data).

4. Transfer (KVKK Art. 8-9)

Your data may be processed outside Türkiye in EU member states (contracted infrastructure providers: Hetzner Germany, Neon EU). This transfer is made under KVKK Art. 9/2 (b) via contract.

5. KVKK Art. 11 Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, anonymise, restrict processing, object to automated decisions, and seek redress. The nine rights listed under KVKK Article 11 are enumerated below. Exercise them via /settings/privacy or by emailing [email protected]. Applications are answered within 30 days under KVKK Art. 13.

  1. Learn whether your personal data is being processed.
  2. Request information if your personal data has been processed.
  3. Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose.
  4. Know the third parties — domestic or abroad — to whom your personal data is transferred.
  5. Request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate personal data.
  6. Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing have ceased, even when the processing complied with KVKK and related regulations.
  7. Require that any rectification, deletion, or destruction made under points (5) and (6) be communicated to third parties to whom your data was transferred.
  8. Object to a result against you that arises from the exclusively automated analysis of your data.
  9. Claim compensation for damages incurred as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data.
